Sorry, I disagree. I think you should work and strive for success, even if you have to distant yourself from people. Hard work is almost always required in order to succeed. Work all day if you have to. If others conflict with your lifestyle, so be it. It is their problem. If they are true friends, they will acknowledge what you are doing and respect it.
