yup, although ICANN was under EU pressure to rescind its power, the US gov put ICANN in charge for the forseeable future. That means ICANN is under US gov control, and if it goes through you can expect shit to hit the fan, and the adult industry left to fight its own battles over cyber squatting, SEO, and other fallout issues.
Bascially if you're a US based site owner you'd better hope this doesn't go through or you'll be forced to deal with massive headaches with transition moving your business aborad, or even bigger headaches with .xxx
