To clarify the getting stuck behind the eye. It's possible that it dries up and stays stuck under your upper lid & not on the iris. All it takes is eye drops or your natural tears to let it move back down. There are also cases of people having it stuck on the iris itself, again, because they slept with their lenses on. Kat, if your contacts would pop out (while you were sober) that's because the right fit wasn't found for you, they were either too loose or too tight for your eye.
