I was clueless when I bought my house. Fortunately, I knew Rictor's wife from board postings. She wasn't able to handle my stuff herself, because of the distance. But she was able to make a recommendation on a relator that had all sorts of certifications and worked strictly on my behalf.
I would have lost my mind without my relator. She rocked.
