I know a Cherokee See'er...or Visionary
He comes from a long bloodline traced back to a Cherokee holy woman who married a white man before the American Revolutionary War.
One year ago, he told me he had seen a vision that the US Southwest would be taken by an invasion by Mexico. I didn't believe him at the time...but since I saw the rallies in Los Angeles and Dallas I believe him now.
You are correct....Like the RATM song says "It's comin' back around again"
But unfortunately, its coming around again in a different way then the Mexicans plan.
The visionary said that the Mexicans will be successful in their "reconquering" of the Southwest but will make a critical mistake. They will proclaim victory against the US. They will boast and brag to the world that they were the only people strong enough to fight the American Superpower. Here is their mistake: They will claim the victory for all "indigeneous peoples of the continent"
When their victory celebrations are broadcast all over Central and South America...10s and possibly over a 100 million people will stream out of their poor villages and cities in South and Central America. They will begin to travel North to Mexico and the former US Southwest to be apart of the Newly "Liberated" Lands.
They will fill all of the streets, towns, cities of Mexico and the American Southwest.
The onslaught of people will not stop. Jubilation will turn to confusion as food becomes scarce. Many people of different tribal identities will miscommunicate. Rumors will spread. The people will begin to fear for their lives.
At this moment, anarchy begins to reign. The Mexican government is unable to deploy it's military or police. THe people begin to kill each other out of fear and confusion.
Terror reigns. There is total anarchy. NOBODY is in charge. NOBODY is in control. All civilization breaks down.
Then several natural disasters occur. Specifically, in Los Angeles and Mexico City. Millions of people are killed by violent earth changes and storms.
The destruction in the cities cause by nature eliminates all hope that government can ever regain control. People begin to blame each other for the chaotic situation. They mercilessly butcher each other... they become like animals fighting almost for no reason.
"IT'S COMING BACK AROUND AGAIN"
Just as the Conquistadores were able to turn tribe against tribe. The Americans will exploit the situation Mexico finds itself in.
Americans, armed with military and also homemade weapons, will begin to pour into the US Southwest to exploit the confusion of the Spanish Speaking invaders.
Americans, will feel in their hearts that divine intervention had caused the invaders to fall in disarray. Americans will believe that GOD is on their side.
The "Spirit of the Angel of Death" will enter their hearts. They will seek retribution and vengeance. Americans will believe that GOD has put it in their hearts to do HIS WILL. They believe his will is to kill the enemies of America.
One man will kill five, and then kill another five. Americans will fight with a ferocity that the world has never seen.
The entire Southwest will be liberated. NO invaders will be left alive. Some will escape to Mexico...but they will be pursued.
Then Americans will look at the border with Mexico. They will say, "We do not respect the border of Mexico, as Mexico did not respect the border of America"
Then, Americans will descend upon Mexico. They will come for blood. They will kill for vengeance. They will destroy and make desolate the entire country. They will kill man, woman and child.
Some Mexicans will ally with the Americans... they will be spared...all others will be killed.
At the end of the fighting...Mexico will be completely destroyed... It's people will be ethnically cleansed... Just like the CHerokee Nation.
This is what my friend saw in his vision. He said that Mexico would disappear and never return. He said that America would claim it as a territory and then new immigrants from Europe would come to settle the barren lands.

Was the Cherokee Vision correct? Well, we should know the answer soon.
In the meantime, I'll learn a little Spanish just in case he was wrong.
