It only takes 2 days for the nicotine to be out of your system, after that, it's just the habit nagging at you.
When you feel like having a smoke, think about how bad the ashtrey smells and think about the fact that that's how you smell when you smoke.
Eat some fresh fruits and notice how much better they smell now that your sinuses aren't burnt out. (this one takes a couple weeks to notice, but pay attention)
When you wake up in the morning, take a deep breath and think about when you used to wake up coughing.
