I honestly think it is pretty smart of them to have released this video. It was their attempt to quash the conspiracy theorists asking why the videos were confiscated and never made public in the first place.
When I first watched the video, I was like... wtf. But then I realized that whoever decided to do this was clever but not that clever. Security cameras have low frames per second. It honestly does not even look like a video but just pictures taken at low resolution twice every second. Now, all of us expected us to see the fuselage and the tail wing and etc but we don't. And no one can slow this down any more than it is now to analyze it. You see a tiny bit of the nose and then the explosion which seems to cover up the tail of whatever it was.
I am rather surprised that the quality and activity of this camera was so low considering that this is a security camera to The Pentagon. I would have expected a more powerful camera - I mean, this isn't a security camera to overlook a counter at a gas station okay. Even McDonalds nowadays use higher quality security cameras than this where you can distinctly see the face of whoever is at the counter. Perhaps they took some frames out of the video before they released it.
