However, may I suggest you also offer (if you have not done so):

1. For a fee you will install everything.
2. A hosted solution on a monthly basis.

The thing you must remember is that many people who may be interested in this (such as models) will have zero idea how to set up a wp site, hosting, getting a domain name and so on.

The problem though you need to address is the fact that the customers who your looking at (models) will have no understanding of setting up a website/wp getting domains and so on.

Your second problem is that if a model is going to use it for nude pics, then payment is not as simple as just putting paypal on as paypal may not allow porn.

So if it was me, have links to payment systems on your website and state if they will allow porn or not, and the process to sign up.

But, if you can, I personally would have an option where I can come onto your site, and have a monthly payment option (say $20 a month), where I sign up, and the site is done for me, including hosting and a domain name. And all I need to do is upload my pics and vids. As it is all set up including payments.

In truth for me this looks to be great, your problem is, I suspect models would find it a big jump to go from simply using twitter and facebook, to suddenly having to learn how to use wp. Not to mention themes and plugins, and even how to post on wp.

In some ways, a stand alone system may be more user friendly.

Your idea is great actually we have it in mind for middle-term/long-term. It requires lot of money to create and manage this type of site, including the payment processors costs due to high risk. But this is definitely something we have in mind.

About the theme itself, we are aware that many models wouldn't invest their time set up everything. They already have content to produce, to share and manage their fans. Btw, that's why we will soon implement imgur so models can upload content just by pasting imgur links.

To go straight to the point, this themes targets more webmasters who are working with models than models themselves. I've already been contacted by webmasters who want the theme to create sites for their models.

About payment systems, i'm currently writing an article explaing in details what kind of processors that work with woocommerce accept adult

The key I suggest to you selling this theme is to understand who your customers will be.

It may be most of your customers are webmasters, and if so, what your doing is great.

However models and the general public will not have a clue in many cases what wp is, how to set up a site, hosting, domains, payments and so on. And if they turn out to be your customers, then your going to struggle, unless you can make things easer for them.

My advice would now be to contact ten or so models and ask them if they would buy your theme and get an honest reply. By this you need to know if they would find doing a wp site too scary. Just telling you they love the look of the theme is rather pointless, and I know many small firms fail because they ask the wrong questions. If you ask anyone do they like x, they will say often yes, but that does not mean they will buy x. The key to your success now, is going to be to understand if your customers (models) would be confident to self host or not.

Even something simple as your domain name may may things sound too technical for them. Lockeed.co. A more friendly sounding domain name may make a difference. Something like myfansite.com.

Also I had a look on your site and I think your missing one huge selling point, and that is the fact that the advantage of using your system is the fact that it has lower risks. By this, a model is not going have to worry about onlyfans rules and go through all the problems such sites have. Such as the type of content they can post, and risk having accounts closed.

For instance, I believe (I could be wrong) that Onlyfans no longer allows pics shot outside in public. For people who may shoot certain content, your system is a great product.

Other selling bits too is the fact they can put adverts on (I presume they can).

I can see lots of things your system can have as an advantage, and these should be listed.

It is important to think of all the advantages your system has, because for a new model, the % a site such as Onlyfans is not important. For instance for someone who gets say 5 sales a month, the % such as onlyfans takes is not going to be much (I presume) than the cost of hosting a site each month. So push the other advantages rather than simply cost.

But I would suggest finding a good host you can partner with who can provide a simple solution to hosting.

Hosting may itself be a huge block to a model. So many different types of server setups these days (even I no longer understand things), such as dedicated, shared, and lots of other types. And understanding how much disc space you need, and if things can cope with 4k films.

Just to finish, one of the things that would be a big selling point is if you could also offer a link or even do it yourself, a plugin or whatever to prevent passwords being used by by non members. By this, years ago when I had a ccbill site I paid a few pounds to have a system that stopped passwords being used by different people. So if someone signed up and posted on a forum, it would detect the isp and block everyone using that password.

Also having a link or advise to stop people saving the content and uploading to tube sites would be a big plus.

The last thing you want is a model to buy your theme, then find her or his content all over the web, or people trading passwords, and then they post on forums that they regret buying your theme blaming the theme itself, in turn putting others off from your theme.

As I say, I think your theme is great.

But your problem is your customers may not have a lot of understanding of wp and so on, and that could mean sales or not.

Yes

If you can target a lot of webmasters and sell them the idea, then this is great idea.

In an ideal world, you could do with a team of dedicated webmasters who can do this as a business, as in setting up websites for models, and running things.

However, this could also be a problem. Will a model want to pay a webmaster x amount each month to run things, and to trust them not to close the site or sell the domain or even put up costs if they work out the model is making thousands.

One suggestion may be to have a forum on your site. It may be useful for people, such as models seeking webmasters to set up sites, webmasters offering services. Things people like about the theme. Advise to new people who want to know how to set up a wp site and so on.

Yes, we are aware that most of models don't know how to set up with hosting etc... But we also know that many webmasters already work for these models and they would be interested to team up so thyey can have their own site, their own space where they keep 100% of earnings and they will never be afraid of platforms new rules that could pop up.

I agree with you concerning the site, it currently focus more on features than having a homepage that explains well the benefits. I'm currently working on that!

These following days/weeks, we will focus on offering a "package" that includes hosting and everything so it will be really easy to set up a site. Then we may add imgur/gfycat for those who already have lot of content uploaded on these hosting sites.

In truth for me this looks to be great, your problem is, I suspect models would find it a big jump to go from simply using twitter and facebook, to suddenly having to learn how to use wp. It may be most of your customers are webmasters, and if so, what your doing is great. However models and the general public will not have a clue in many cases what wp is, how to set up a site, hosting, domains, payments and so on. And if they turn out to be your customers, then your going to struggle, unless you can make things easer for them. My advice would now be to contact ten or so models and ask them if they would buy your theme and get an honest reply. By this you need to know if they would find doing a wp site too scary. Just telling you they love the look of the theme is rather pointless, and I know many small firms fail because they ask the wrong questions. If you ask anyone do they like x, they will say often yes, but that does not mean they will buy x. The key to your success now, is going to be to understand if your customers (models) would be confident to self host or not. Even something simple as your domain name may may things sound too technical for them. Lockeed.co. A more friendly sounding domain name may make a difference. Something like myfansite.com. Also I had a look on your site and I think your missing one huge selling point, and that is the fact that the advantage of using your system is the fact that it has lower risks. By this, a model is not going have to worry about onlyfans rules and go through all the problems such sites have. Such as the type of content they can post, and risk having accounts closed. For instance, I believe (I could be wrong) that Onlyfans no longer allows pics shot outside in public. For people who may shoot certain content, your system is a great product. Other selling bits too is the fact they can put adverts on (I presume they can). I can see lots of things your system can have as an advantage, and these should be listed. It is important to think of all the advantages your system has, because for a new model, the % a site such as Onlyfans is not important. For instance for someone who gets say 5 sales a month, the % such as onlyfans takes is not going to be much (I presume) than the cost of hosting a site each month. So push the other advantages rather than simply cost. But I would suggest finding a good host you can partner with who can provide a simple solution to hosting. Hosting may itself be a huge block to a model. So many different types of server setups these days (even I no longer understand things), such as dedicated, shared, and lots of other types. And understanding how much disc space you need, and if things can cope with 4k films. Just to finish, one of the things that would be a big selling point is if you could also offer a link or even do it yourself, a plugin or whatever to prevent passwords being used by by non members. By this, years ago when I had a ccbill site I paid a few pounds to have a system that stopped passwords being used by different people. So if someone signed up and posted on a forum, it would detect the isp and block everyone using that password. Also having a link or advise to stop people saving the content and uploading to tube sites would be a big plus. The last thing you want is a model to buy your theme, then find her or his content all over the web, or people trading passwords, and then they post on forums that they regret buying your theme blaming the theme itself, in turn putting others off from your theme. As I say, I think your theme is great. But your problem is your customers may not have a lot of understanding of wp and so on, and that could mean sales or not. __________________ My old and new pics I have shot
