What metric matters in affiliate marketing the most? EPC & ROI. Forget payout, Here is why! Payout is a static metric, payout does not tell you how an offer behaves on any given source or funnel. Payout does not tell you anything about the backend of an advertiser. Many affiliates end up tossing away their testing budget for the week or even month due to taking payout as an actual metric, Its not. The only metrics you want to focus on in affiliate marketing are EPC & ROI. Another metric that you should ask your AM is what the overall CR is on the account of an offer. This could reveal the actual ''difficulty'' of an offer. Are you having troubling converting on adult dating? Are you trying to find offers which can run at an consistent epc. Are you having troubles because advertisers & networks are pausing your sources too quick? Talk about your experiences here! |

Man, you're 100% right! How many times have I said the same thing to my partners, but many do not understand! They chase the Payout figure, but they are not interested in the EPC.
I have offers with payout $2 and with $5. And first doing better EPC than second. |
