I'm thinking of building a social network for tattoo lovers, maybe use PHPFOX and then sell ad space for revenue. Wheres a good place to get advertisers , should I stay with tattoo products first till the traffic gets big, at least hope it gets big?

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Build it and get traffic to it first...make it a viable community, then start slowly bringing in adwords ads. You can then use that as a good starting point on prices for advertisers.
If you can let it sit for a good 3-4 months without revenue, then slowly bring in those ads, it should do well. I would stick with tattoo ads first and then test out some non-tat stuff as a test...Comment

You know you can use JUICY ADS for mainstream as well
I have used it to buy advertising space on one of my mainstream sites. If you are selling ads you can specify non adult sites only ect.. and you can also pre approve any site that wants to advertise on your siteComment

Take a look at buddypress or social engine for your community. I personally like buddypress because it's free and anything I want to add to the community, I can almost always find a plugin.
