    Time spend on Linked In

    Hi All,

As you know Linked In is used for professional purposes.

Can you tell me how much time shall we spend on Linked In to get clients?

    2 to 3 Hours daily

    3 to 4 hours daily

    more than 4 hours.

    Please advice.

I try to limit myself to about 2 hours per day on linkedIn, twitter and various forums. It can be too easy to get side tracked (especially on here), but I guess it depends mostly on what your main business aims are.

as an affiliate manager (fairly low down the ladder in terms of online marketers!) i need to make sure enough time is left to actually manage brands and support affiliates. recruitment is certainly an important part of the job but 2-3hours per day is plenty...

to know how effective your time is being spent, you need to have something in place that measures your success

Visited, but closed my profile as I got fed up with crap emails all the time.

Only unsuccessful people are active on there, successful people don't need to network on there, work comes to them.

While I have made profiles I have never been active on linked in. Might be missing a trick but never seemed to convert into anything much!

I've not used Linkedin much. Are you finding it effective?
