A similar question came up on the webmaster forum a few days back, so I thought I'd copy an paste my response here for you:

"Based on our most recent metrics (we are an adult search engine), the three most searched for adult terms are lesbians, mature, and anal. Teens are pretty popular too, but not as much so as the other three.

These are subjective of course, as they can be affected by where we advertise, promotions we run, etc."

If you want to see the entire thread, it's here:

    Hope that helps.

just hit some of the networks up ask for their top offers and figure out which ones are really doing well and which ones they are behind on traffic.

something like whatrunswhere could give some ideas on whats being pushed.

january is a mental time for weight loss and various other health and beauty offers so i suppose now is a good time to put something together.

our partner network moreniche has several good converting offers across diet pills, detox, skin care etc where average earnings are about $25 per sale. but please note there's none of this free trial shit that seems to be so popular these days, we try to steer clear of this scammy type of crap

drop me a line if this suits

Drop-shipping ecommerce sites seem to be doing alright.

I guess I would ask what hobbies you're interested in. If those hobbies involve merchandise -- equipment, maybe, or something collectible -- then you can monetize that aspect. And if you're genuinely interested in the topic, you'll tend to find writing about it more interesting. And that enthusiasm will generally help you rank better and make the development process seem less like work.

Will have to say weight loss, skin care, etc. General health and beauty products have been killing it non stop since internet marketing started, pretty much.

Since somebody mentioned beauty products, I may as well put a plug in for a couple of domain auctions that I started yesterday. Hair coloration products take up pretty much a whole aisle at any WalMart, and they ship really easily. These happen to be .CO.UK domains; so the audience would obviously be British. Not really a problem online if you're working with affiliates. The auction site is called DomainLore.co.uk, and the starting price is 50 quid:

                    Coloration.co.uk
                    HairColoration.co.uk

                    Also this one:

                    TelevisionStars.co.uk

I don't run any hair-care sites. But at 50 pounds, it should be an inexpensive niche to get into. 50 GBP is pretty cheap in comparison to the reported .CO.UK sales on DomainPrices.co.uk. There the lowest I can find is 700 GBP.
