    Any Other Nerds Here?

    I started http://www.criticaltable.com with a friend a few years ago when I became unemployed and just needed to stay busy. It gave me something to do every day and helped control my depression.
    Once I moved across the country to find work, it's been sitting all alone and not doing anything since I was busy trying to survive.
    I've never made any money on it, and honestly had no real idea how to. Any advice for a nerd just trying to make some money in his spare time, now that I have it? Other than actually writing content.

      Do you get traffic to your site still? If so, why not put up some ads targeting gamers?
      Check out some big gaming sites and look at the ads on them, see if they come from an advertising network and if so go check out that ad network. You might be able to put up the same or similar ads to make money from clicks etc.

      Some games have affiliate links, I checked out the Eve Online one myself, if you sell something you get 50% rev share, and if you sell all the way up to 150 subscriptions you get 100% of the rev share. I am sure there are many other ones out there too.

      Or are you looking to get into adult?

          That site is purely for gaming/comics/movies/nerd shit.
          I get something like 50 hits a day. Mostly because on a whim I put up screen caps of nudes from Game of Thrones, and League of Legends stuff.

              Hard to earn money with that traffic. First should look to increase traffic. Have other sites to put some backlinks? Or exchange with other game webmasters.
