PlugRush review

a week ago me and my business partner Daniel decided to test out PlugRush to see can websites of "mortal" people make money with it and most of all >> does it impact rankings?

In short:
1) there are no significant loss on rankings
2) Traffic-wise plugrush showed less than 1/3 of the traffic
3) the income is quite... well ;) read it yourself:

good work on the review. We really appreciate when people share their experience with PlugRush. It can only make us better.

I see you got a CPM at around $2.5. That is actually not bad at all for popunder traffic, and is above the average in our network.

As for the numbers not matching up. You can never expect us to be able to pop the same amount of pops as you have visitors to your website. Some pople don't click your page, some have adblock, some have browsers that don't pop windows. It is impossible to find an adnetwork that can pop 100% successfull. We only show the amount of successfull pops we've had. Which is what the traffic number is. Usually you can expect 20-40% successfull pops.

As for PlugRush mostly being for bigger sites, that is also a bit off in my opinion. 99% of the sites in our network are small sites. We specialize in making ad solutions for small sites, which is why we only pay publishers per click or redirect, and not per impression or cpa.
Working with a cpc network is a lot easier for smaller sites, because you'll at least get paid a couple of cents for your dozen clicks per day, instead of when you're sending to cpa offers where you have to send thousands of hits before maybe getting a $30 signup after a month. A network like PlugRush makes it easier to have consistency in your revenue stream, and a stable income even if you have very litle traffic. While CPA programs and networks work better for bigger sites that can push a lot of traffic before getting a sale.

Thank you for clearing that up

The main aim was to test influence on traffic and then the possible revenue out of pop-unders.

Now when I see that traffic stats are the same as are the rankings - we will probably run other tests on Plugrush.. one at the time.. The question is - how to get out maximum performance out of it

I bought 1000 uniques based on 2 english speaking geos and my stats for the traffic are good. 50.74% bounce rate, time on site 2:03 and 3.16 page per view.

If you added a tracker to your URL, you could increase these numbers even more, and by a lot from what we have been told by advertisers. You monitor your traffic with your tracking system, such as google analytics, and see which websites are more productive, and which aren't.

The ones that aren't as productive as you would like, you can block them from sending you traffic inside of plugrush with one click. It can be a bit tedious we know, but it is worth it!

humm.. why do you say that? not all the products are for everybody.

well... if your main target is to make money then 40-50 visitors a day will not be enough top make money with plugrush. That is the reality...

I would say - even selling banner place on fiverr will make more money than plugrush (adult business services sell well on fiverr).

plugrush is great to buy traffic from - just make sure you always analyze and optimize your traffic.

great info and review. i'm wondering what their high end CPM #'s are. On a tube site it looks like $1-$2 per 1000 or so if that. Not bad, but not super high.

I have had good luck with the traffic trading on plugrush for my tube site. The only problem is the traffic is mostly form korea and china.

This is because most of the traffic you are sending in is from Korea and China, or other tier 3 countries...We match the GEO that you send in, you send in China, we will send you China back
