Will Facebook convert to sales?

I am currently running a Facebook page and it has 168 likes right now. How effective is Facebook in bringing in traffic to my website and eventually converting to sales? Should I pursue Facebook further?

I am not posting nudes though. I post interesting trivia and gain Likes from that and advertise my site somewhere else like the coverpage or the profile picture. I am now at 174 likes and I started 3 weeks ago.

Forget about facebook and start working on SEO , the traffic which realy convert is on SE not on social networks !

Yes, I never had any great SEO effects out of social networks, or even monetizing traffic.

I would use Twitter instead. That's what I do and I get a fair amount of sales.

facebook hates dating/adult pages, you might get reported and banned . Try Twitter or Tumblr instead IMHO

We have made facebook pages for our website, but aside from the likes it does not really convert well. Twitter and Tumblr do better with heavy promotion.

Hm, it's impossible to say exactly. Listen, if your traffic is interested in Fetish Video, you will see a lot of sales ;)

Use only twitter and tumblr for adult website. Other social media sites are just the waste of the time if you are running adult websites.
