Launched a website, after a year had 2 million visitors- where did we go wrong?

My friend and I launched an adult website a year and a half ago on the basic principle of gathering our favorite six adult videos daily and putting those clips on our site. Google traffic and word of mouth seemed to have helped and after a year we had over 2 million visitors. Some ad people contacted us to purchase pop unders etc and things were looking great. We launched a second site called createmypornstar.com using our earnings from thebestsix.com; where you could custom create your ideal lady from a database of pornstars.

Then it all came crashing down when Google changed their algorithm and we started to lose visitors a la mass. Since then life came into play and we haven't really spent much more time on the project but I really don't want to give up since we put in a lot of work. I mean alot of work... all our videos are custom cut to comply with our providers. We've added custom intros and outros to each video. The coding behind createmypornstar.com was extensive.

We simply don't know the best route to take anymore or if the project is even worth it...

Time to call it quits or what to do next?

Guys, are you kidding? I did try open your site(thebestsix.com) and got redirect for cam or something other. I did try open second times: omigot! I see first page, good! click on the thumb on the first page and got fuc*^&% redirect again! Most of user just close and not comeback.
Google not like redirect
You might use popunder (its opened in to new window when user click on the page, _under_work_ window)

Yep you should improve more the webpage with unique content.
And try to set up on social media, forums and directories to gain more traffic. Don’t give up on it you have a cool idea you can continue to build up.
