this probably had come up before, but I find it very weird after all those years there isn't a single really good adult database, especially in the era when online scenes are way bigger than dvd movies. Data18 is the closet thing to barely decent, but there's so much more be done in this space. Is there no money in this kind of business or the reason lies somewhere else? I'm taking a break from work and am considering putting something together, but is it worthy?

A lot of those databases are driven by user contributed data or else by the producers own catalogue database having been scraped. Generally you will find less info on smaller budget films especially those with limited viewership. I think the budget and viewership of adult productions is microscopic in comparison to even the lowest budget feature length movie, and even adult scenes with a dedicated fan base is bound to have less vocal fans, it seems a lot of people are less will to discuss their masturbation experience than a general cinematic experience. (go figure)
At least 99.9% of porn is essentially disposable material to the user, they think about the tissue they used to catch the semen longer than they think about the video they just watched, and in the age of piracy and free tubes it's disposable to the producer too.- As soon as I think up a good sig it's going here.Comment
