Heh, was just going to say good thing I sold RFIDCreditCards.com but looks like it's easy enough to protect against.

Even though the scanner isn't actually stealing the physical cards, it seems that it has to come within 2-3 inches of the wallet/purse which is rather close. I wonder what the range is on these scanners.

I am sure they can be boosted so I bought a protected tri-fold wallet.

what can you buy with someone's number and exp date? almost nothing id imagine...whats worrying though is the passport stuff - rogue governments have been known to steal people's passport id and use it for things like assassinations

its all you need

just think how many people you could scan in a train by just walking down or in a busy shopping area.

then if your smart you just sell the info on.

if you did that i am not even sure your breaking the law.

wrap your cars in aluminum foil

they dont get the cvv or security code from the RFID, but some sites dont require it. pretty scary how things are progressing in terms of theft, but i check my bank account and credit card account daily as ive been a victim of CC theft twice.
