The bull's horn went though Aparico's tongue and penetrated the roof of the mouth, fracturing the jawbone. His life was saved after two operations. The bull, however, was quickly killed by other matadors.

Actually I think this is a real victory for the bull (even though it died). From the looks of it... It would not have recovered to a good quality of life.

Hen House grocery stores in the Metro KC area hold lobsters on ice, selling them as 'LIVE LOBSTERS".
They tie them up with nylon wire ties, keep them in trays of ice, while the lobsters slowly suffocate. The pitch the dead ones into the trash. May have photos in a day or so. Yeah, I know. "They are ONLY lobsters!" Well, lobsters are marine animals. Take them out of the water and they acnnot breathe. Hen House does NOT use lobster tanks filled with water but only trays of live, bound lobsters stacked like cordwood.
