![]() Hi
I am right now in the process of choosing a cascaded processing solution for our existing and forthcoming paysites. At the moment we are processing with Verotel, which proved perfect as a quick startup solution, converts very well, pays in time, no complains really. However I want more processors added because (1) prefer spreading eggs among a few baskets (2) Verotel is too basic as a serious/ambitious stand-alone affiliation platform. I am considering Ccbill, Epoch and Zombaio (one or more of them, with or without NATS). A critical element in the choice is affiliates preference. So questions for affiliates: 1) Would you feel more inclined to promote or NOT promote sites with the three solutions above? 2) Would being on Nats[3|4] make a difference in your decision of promoting a paysite? 3) Any other reccomendation? Thanks!

Make sure there is a cascade in place which credits affiliates and make sure surfers previously sent by affiliates are sent to proper affiliate processor. You're right I won't promote you if I'm not sure I'm getting credit for all processors. Some of the dumber affiliates will but they are going out of business. I prefer a regular CCBill program above all but will take others if fair.

We're dropping Epoch out of the cascade. They have priced themselves right out of our consideration. Plus they have gotten very intrusive as far as trying to tell site owners what they can and can't do on their own sites (not talking about obvious "bad" stuff...I'm referring to stupid shit that is really irritating. Search for Dirty White Boy's epic post on epoch from about a year ago for a great example)

I'm not overjoyed about NATS and still prefer a third party handling the stats and payments but as long as you are honest and configure it right then it isn't a big deal. The key is also in the payouts. $50 minimum no less than monthly. $100 max. This is a bigger deal with the smaller niche sites because obviously a lot of people won't have traffic for that and don't want to wait for their money.

Antony,
I don't see why NATS wouldn't be the perfect solution for you. You can add ccbill, zombaio, and epoch along with any of the 90+ billers integrated into NATS already. You can then test your billers in multiple ways to see which ones work best. More control on your affiliate program with us! I hit you up on icq to further discuss this. ![]() |

Alf ~ Please feel free to contact me directly for more information regarding CommerceGate/Segpay. We are integrated with NAT's and part of the CCBill cascade option as well. Send me an email when you have a moment
