We've been offered 50% of an amount that was first promised a year ago. Lots of stuffing around, finally took it to mediation with a third party.

Do you think 50% recovery is reasonable after a year of mucking around?

It's hard to say w/o knowing all the details but if a 3rd party mediator is coming back w/ 50% you should probably take it, wash your hands and walk away.

depends on how much your time is worth. if you want to still go after the money, then dont take the offer.

in most cases, a settlement of 50% is the best you will get.
