We had like three storms hit us at once and it was amusing a few weeks ago. It rained for a week. Might not sound bad for some people, but it just doesn't rain like that here. Keep in mind if it rains here four or five times a year that's a lot for us.

LA goes into "Great Flood Of 2010" when it sprinkles. I'd hate to see something really massive happen.

Much of Southern California at least , cannot handle constant rain for 3-4 days. Storm drains back up, freeways fall apart, the ground gets saturated trees fall and slopes start shifting.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants think about that
