I finally saw Wall Street 2

I know I'm late, good fucking movie! I must have seen the first one Wall Street 50 times or so... during college I thought I wanted to be a broker, couldn't pass the Series 7... I took that shit 3 times and the Series 62 twice, lol. Now, I sling porn... lol

If you watch Wall Street 2 backwards, it's about a really rich guy that seems nice but lies, cheats, and screws people over for money only to end up in prison broke... wait... Isn't that the forwards version of Wall Street 1?

I was surprisingly impressed too, great movie.

Reminds me of the saying you can give a poor guy a million bucks and he will still be poor in 5 years but take away everything from someone wealthy and they will be rich again in less time.

Something like that.

I thought it dragged... The movie could have been 45 minutes shorter and a lot more effective if they cut out a bunch of the useless scenes...

Horrible movie. The ending was lame.

For a very simple storyline, you think they would have made up for it with a twist. Theres a reason movies like The Usual Suspects and American History X were great, their endings weren't endings Disney would have made.

Honestly would have been so much better if he made off with the money and left the man he actually is.

Interesting point, I kinda thought the same thing... but I think Oliver Stone/Gekko was trying to say that as you get older, you're not the same. You have limited time and that family is more important than money. Shit, 100mil is serious bank

You're kidding I hope... WallStreet 1 was pretty good. I saw it lots of times. It was the beginning of some Oliver Stone greatness.

I HATED WallStreet 2... it was so long and dull and boring. I got the impression that Oliver Stone didn't do a damn thing but point and shoot.

If you liked Wall Street 1, two other movies you might also like are Boiler Room and Glen Gary Glen Ross.

Speaking of Glen Gary Glen Ross, here's my favourite fan-edit of this movie.
