Mac Gurus... I need your help

In an effort to clean up some space on a mac I only use for music, I deleted the sparsebundle of the concerning user account. This account had thousands of paid itunes songs in it.

Now whenever I log in I get the message that I can't log in due to a FileVault error. Turns out the backups I made on my Time Capsule also didn't take. So I'm left with nothing.

Is there a way to get my data back?

Easiest way to get space in OSX is to delete all the language files you don't need.

You can re-download your paid iTunes songs when logging into your account.

I have tried this before, usually it just finds a few songs. Are you telling me it will let me re-download all my 1000+ songs?

Yes they will let you re-download all of your songs. An old PC died which had over 100 itunes songs. When I got my new machine (a mac, woo!) I went to itunes, authorized it on my account, and was able to re-download everything without having to pay again.
