The movie is not based upon a true story...so they are not "embellishing a little"...it is fiction.

I have found this and several similar statements made about the movie.

"Producer Christopher Mallick based this fictional movie on his own Web experience"...but no where have I found the movie being advertised as being based upon a true story.

probably just because you are in the industry. To people not in the industry, they obviously didn't find it watchable as it bombed. I thought the commentary, especially in the beginning where just about everything was him saying his thoughts was kind of stupid and dull.

I watched it, against my wanting to, because I was bored that night, I was fucked up but what I got from it was that it was all about ripping people off and karma.. not too far from the truth huh? Hopefully.

I think it would have actually been more enjoyable had I not known the history behind the movie, but I couldn't stop thinking about how many people haven't been paid from the whole Epassporte situation.

Lady Lia looked hot as always, but it seems odd that they would use her real name in the credits as opposed to the rest of the performers who used their stage names.

Chris Mallick is still trying to make a go of it in Hollywood, which would be admirable if he had made good on his supposed commitment to repay all who had money tied up in his ePassporte fiasco, but instead he has apparently turned his back on many people whose money is missing (no funds, no communication).

Mallick financed his last film using other people's money, as well as some of his own, but it is unlikely, given his track record and recent negative press, that he will ever get the kind of financing it would take to make Oxymoron Entertainment not be an oxymoron for a successful movie production company.

How many more movie bombs Mallick will drop before the law, or his investors/clients, settle their issues with him, remains to be seen (or in Mallick's case, not seen).

i just watched it tonight and have a hard time believing a lot of what was protrayed in the movie actually happened. the dumping of a russian mobsters body in the ocean, etc. the movie wasn't bad and was entertaining enough, i though, to keep people with no clue of the industry interested. had the real story been told I'd imagine it would of been a bit more boring.
