Just a heads up we direct mobile traffic to our mobile optimized landing page. It still reads your cookie and it doesn't offer any upsells to other sites.

100% Swurve all the way.

Oh I was correct... I never said 99.99% of your mobile traffic. Thanks for proving you're an idiot and like to misquote people to create fake drama bullshit...

affiliates have the right to know if sales are being stolen from them. i think most of us can agree on that.

How could it be true, I never said 99.99% redirect your mobile traffic.

As I said though, most established programs do some various type of redirects, some pay, some don't, not all can, some always try - it's best to ask them, the people that know.

Thing is... you have no way of knowing - you couldn't test all the factors, hell you can't even check all the device types - that's why YOU should be doing it.

Putting your faith into a sponsor to always be putting you first - is very retarded.

Many say we don't pay on various Country traffic.... that's all it says - they don't have to explain what they do with it.

And it's not theft when they couldn't convert them - even more so if it's PPS.

Getting past all the reasons why they may do this, I for one would like to know which sponsors do redirect this traffic without our ref codes and those who can say categorically they do not do this. Because I know which ones I'll be using.

Yes, many do. Less now than used to though. The trick is some were redirecting iphone and crediting webmasters but all the more obscure browsers would go to a 3rd party/house account.

Letting a sponsor filter your mobile traffic freely for you is a mistake.

You should redirect it yourself, have a white label, test various sponsors, to find the one that works BEST with your traffic, sources, filtering, or sell it to the highest bidder - because they will buy it. Even if a sponsor does it for you, it doesn't mean you couldn't make more with someone else.

Same with Countries - you can get paid a HELL OF A LOT MORE for your German traffic than ANY Sponsor in this thread will ever pay you. So you let them redirect it, take the bigger cut, give you chump change - when you could do it yourself - all to keep your panties from getting in a wad.

Now wait... what about those Sponsors that don't filter it off? ohh... sorry, that's just lost money for both of you.

Filter your traffic people - stop blaming sponsors for you not doing your job.

I have seen with my own eyes the affiliate commissions that we pay for sales on redirections to our mobile webcam site.

Most other honest adult programs do likewise I would hope.

Filtering traffic can mean a lot of things... with this thread, it means using a script or htaccess file to redirect mobile surfers to a mobile friendly website of your own or sponsors mobile website.

Filtering can happen at many levels though, such as using an exit/pop window or on error pages, by having multiple pictures or links, when a person clicks on say a big boob thumbnail, they've been filtered off to a niched page, which could filter them down in the boob niche to find what they really like.

Other filtering includes geoip filtering on ads or through redirects. Such as a German visitor getting ads to German sites in the ads, in the filtering, sponsor content, ect. Depending on your abilities more depends on what you can offer, like just changing the ads or swapping the entire site to a translated, all German sponsors down to the free content being used.

Filtering isn't the end all... but it for sure can be worked out to produce some extra money.

you redirect or show show different content to your visitors based on:
* their browser
* the version of their browser
* their language
* their country
* whether or not they accept cookies
* whether or not they are blocking ads
* the number of pages they've visited on your site
* the actions they have taken on your site
* where they came from
* whether or not they have visited your site in the past
* other sites they have visited
* toolbars they have installed
* plugins they have installed
* the position of the moon and the stars
* the speed of their connection
* amount of time they spend on a page
* mouse movements in certain areas
* ...

Twistys gives full credit to the affiliates on all mobile traffic.

That said we've sent traffic to a number of well known programs only to see our traffic get redirected to another company with no credit to us. So we sent to company A but surfer gets company b's site and company a gets commission we are completely cut out. It's very lame.

I noticed i got some sales from Dating Gold's mobile stuff and I didn't know they had any much less was I promoting it so they must have redirected the mobile traffic I was sending them to it. Pretty cool.
