Anyone else watch Bear Grylls

I love it, but this series is shit you can see his crew and safety lines you even see the set up and landrovers they have spoilt a great program. Why try and fix something that is not broken.

Yeah but Survivor man does not have the same personality as Bear. I watch them both and for sure Survivor man is by himself and really doing it but Bear does much scarier shit and eats anything but with this last series it has been ruined when you can see the Crew and the set ups etc. We know it is not 100% real but no need to show us

Bear Grylls kind of bothered me at first, seemed a bit like a spoiled yuppy. Turns out he is the real deal though. His book "The Kid Who Climbed Everest" is a lot better.

Bear does nothing scary. Doctors in hospitals stop human hearts sometimes but when you're in a hospital under the supervision of surgeons it's okay. Same goes with Bear doing his 'scary' things. He has a team on hand in case anything goes wrong.

Survivorman on the other hand lives life on the edge, if he fucks up he's at least going to need a little time before help reaches him. But if he falls and goes unconscious he's done for whereas Bear just gets picked up by his crew and ushered into his air conditioned ride within minutes.

Bear Grylls is tough though, but not for that survivor show. Go watch the show he does on the French Legion and you'll be wowed at what the guy can do, he keeps up with the hardest training regiment I've ever seen in terms of military training while other guys drop out left and right.

Grylls is a seriously trained soldier, there is no doubting that.

Of course he did the guy is Ex SAS so the foreign legion is not going to challenge him. Some of the shit he does in the show in unreal i watched one recently where he did a parachute jump and then cut the parachute free and then released the emergency chute. He had a accident in the SAS where his chute was ripped and he did not engage the emergency chute in time and ended up breaking his back in 3 places. What i hate about this particular series is you can see the crew there is no need for us to see it..

I'll eat a bunch of weird shit and film myself getting home if you guy's would finance it all. I'll go crazy but make it real at the same time. It would simply be better than his show..

I don't know about that show anymore. Used to be cool. But last night they ran his new show and he went all Brokeback Mountain.
