Every news agency in the country (and some from around the world) flew in reporters. There was literally thousands of reporters in town. Even before the bad weather stopped they were out filming. So every bit of looting that happened it was caught on film.

An earth quake and tsunami that hits with no warning and makes it impossible for relief workers to get to for several hours and in some places days. The reporters weren't already there to film. We don't know what happened. By the time the good old media makes there way into a devastated area it was because the roads were cleared and the trucks with food and water went in. Would you really expect to see much looting AFTER the gov aid made it's way in????

Okay. Well, in the picture you posted, those people have a very small amount of food for people who could be looting. In fact, if they wern't climbing over the cars then you wouldn't think anything of the image .. it woud just be a picture of people shopping.

Also "see people like you back peddle", Eh? i haven't said anything about looting in Japan before now, although it was funny seeing those videos of people running down the road carrying TV's after the New Orleans hurricane and the Rodney King riots. They had their priorities right, didn't they.
