The important point in BBC?s quotes from Experian Hitwise Research Director Robin Goad: ?One in every eight people leaving a social network visits another one immediately after.
One in every eight people leaving a social network visits another one immediately after. Facebook, for example, is a key source of traffic for many smaller social networks, while almost a fifth of people leaving Twitter go on to visit another social network.

Again, that applies to U.K. web surfers, who now account for more than 30 million of the members on Facebook.

Its most prob true, Everybody where I work has a damm facebook account and use it both at work and at home I was talking to a lady who must have been in her early 60s it was about 2 pm in the afternoon, she had just got out of bed and got up but told me she had been on facebook since the morning. If you dont have a facebook account in the UK there is something wrong with you and you are a social outcast... yep I got one as well lol

Most people get laid via social networking in the UK. Amazing what some booze, a smart phone and a facebook account can do nowadays.
