Carma or ElevatedX?

hey,

we are currently shopping around for a new cms and wondering if anyone could provide recommendations, seems like carma and elevatedx are the most popular choices.

but from what i'm reading a lot of people seem to run into templating issues... anyone can recommend a programmer/designer that has done integration of carma or elevatedx and knows these scripts inside and out. we already have our designs done so we will just need integration once we decide on either carma or elevatedx.

i don't see much on the templating for elevatedx other than it runs off smarty just like carma but carma seems to have more documentation on the subject. although the carma docs just seem confusing with all the variables that are available so it would only make sense to have someone more knowledgeable integrate the code into the design so we could take advantage of all the features the script has to offer.

also we will be running NATS, wanted to see if anyone has had issues with NATS/ElevatedX or if their is anything we should know ahead of time.

A large number of sites are using NATS with Elevated X including some of the biggest cash programs online. You won't have any problems there and we recommend NATS to our users.

Our templates are indeed Smarty which is HTML based and split into sections for different pages and page elements for easier editing. We do have some basic template documentation as well as in depth developer reference for those wanting to make heavy customizations.

As for hiring people to do template work and design integrations we refer to a handful of designers as it's faster (and cheaper for our customers)than to do this kind of work ourselves.

A couple have been mentioned in this thread already and if you hit me up via email or phone I'll be happy to provide a list of capable coders.
