The androids are here. The list of apps is impressive so far. Trillian is useful, because it combines many instant messaging programs together.

You have to sync your phone to your FB account. You can do so in the settings, under "Accounts and Sync".

Ok some of my list:

About Browsers. Firefox is so so. Opera Mobile is cool (avoid Opera "mini" is just a proxy). Dophin browser is cool.

For movies reviews: imdb
SMS/Contacts replacement: Go SMS Pro + Go Contacts
Must have for techno/house/trance music: DI radio
Translate texts via camera on realtime (that's sci-fi): Camtranslator
icq, yahoo messenger
best file manager but needs rooted os: Root Explorer
math & pshisics geeks: wolfram alpha + arxhiv
take voice notes on the go: Tape-a-Talk (useful if have an idea when not on pc)
usual apps: paypal, ebay etc.

Best strategy war game: Age of Conquest (Europe and/or Word editions)
Can't miss if you like rpg's, the nintendo emulators: gameboid, snesoid (+tiger gba, tiger snes), then rom gripper, rom finder etc. - can play zalda's and chrono triggers and final fantasy with no issues.

Some of the following may need rooted os, not remember:
DiskUsage
CacheMate

note: I had an iphone before, now using a Nexus S with rooted os as main phone. Rooting the os can be useful but just for Root Explorer and few other apps who access the whole file system, is not a must really.

Hey Mitch, had two Iphone4's and always had dropped call like no other. Couldn't stream SiriusXM on them either very well... so I'm going to wait until they release the I5 and pick one of those up, I've been hearing rumors they'll announce it soon. Until then... it's all Android.

Some great recommendations so far btw, keep em coming... I'm going to be checking these out later tonight.

Nope, it's not released yet but I have it on my phone. It's being released with a new phone that's coming out soon and someone pulled the app off of it. I'll look for a link.

EDIT: You can find the Netflix app here: http://phandroid.com/2011/03/15/netf...id-apk-leaked/

It doesn't stream videos yet but you can manage your queue and everything.

Yeah...that's a pirate app for downloading all the apps without needing to pay for them.

Good job with the suggestion.

Whats a good book app, I like to read.

Also, why don't they make standard sizes for these damn widgets... trying to get them organized on the same page always leaves me with a random blank spot.

Is there ways to add as many left/right home screens as I want?

I promise I'll only have about 300 more annoying questions.

btw, love the flashlight, so simple yet so damn useful... probably my most used app thus far lol.

There's a Kindle app for android.

If you root and install Cyanogenmod you can have as many as you want. STock doesn't have that option, but there might be an app for it or something.

I seemed to have a password lock on my homescreen now, thinking its because I sync'd my email and turned it on, anyone know how to disable that?
