osamaisdead.com is a better name and might get a bit of traffic in the next few days. Weird thing is it was registered 1 May 2011. Why did nobody have it before? binladenisdead.com and osamabinladenisdead.com were both regged a while back.

In a year's time there are going to be a lot of useless 'osama' and 'binladen' domains dropping from all the idiots buying totally crap names right now. (osama-is-dead.com, osama-dead.com, osama-bin-laden-is-dead.com, osamabinladenhasbeenkilled.com etc etc).

domains are cheap , if it makes more than $6 who is the idiot ?

if one of the dudes who killed him decides to do an interview and the headline is "i killed binladen" it could make a few grand.

i just found it funny how quickly it was registered.

Fair point. You could say that for any domain name though, which might have more longevity than this week's big news.

Well ikilledbinladen.com is pretty good, IMO. Could end up as a joke, comedy, parody site of any kind (not just about Bin Laden); with obligatory Cafepress merchandise. Adsense wouldn't pull the plug on a 'kill' site that wasn't actually really about killing. Okay they might.

Me too, and how quickly some of the sites are already available. Maybe they're not propagated all over the world yet, but I'm sure at one time that took ages. Probably a conspiracy in here somewhere.
