what's the name of the image on a Flash player?
everybody seems to refer to the image/thumbnail taken from a video to represent it that is used on a Flash player when it's not playing rather than leaving a black screen. what do you call it?

yeah i call it the poster shot, guess i picked it up from JWPlayer's site, BUT when i use that term nobody seems to know what i'm talking about so i have to explain what i am referring to. which is why i asked if there's a more popular term for it that more people would understand.

poster image. But when talking to some reps I say "image that shows a preview of the video before It's played". If that don't work I close the icq or email and move to the next sponsor
