DOMAININCITE- .XXX cybersquatting policy revealed?
If, as a registrant, you think the Uniform Rapid Suspension policy ICANN plans to enforce on new TLDs is tough, you?ll likely have a bigger problem with Rapid Takedown.
Rapid Takedown is expected to be modeled on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. It will use UDRP experts, but will only take 48 hours to suspend a domain name. ICM has described it like this: http://domainincite.com/dont-rush-to...nIncite.com%29 Appears so. This will probably hurt their defensive domain registrations. This is something to tweet and post if you are Anti .XXX. This program should be all people need to suppress that desire to register domains out of fear. |

Maybe that article was written because of a backlash, since trademark holders are hearing they have to pay protection money, to the triple X tld.
Because if ICM has Rapid Take Down, and you have a trademark, your brand's protected. So why would anyone buy a .XXX domain if they dont have to? Since now its being spelled out that u dont. |
