Hey I have a SE question related to this. I'd like to import my blog roll from one domain to my various blogs via a java script for obvious time saving reasons. How will that effect google. Will they see it as a link on my page or consider it spam in some way?

On All Import I'm trying to imbed some videos with a plugin as in
[KGVD width="768" height="432"]{flickurl[1]}[/KGVID]
But All Import hates it. Won't let the template though. Is there something I can bracket the video code with so All Import will let it pass through? I tried their forum but they want 2 bills to let you in lol.

"Brackets will be parsed as WP All Import constructs so you must escape the first bracket in each shortcode with a backslash \."
Ex: \[shortcode]

Just take your CSV file and open in notepad, then CTRL+H and find/replace all your [shortcode] with \[shortcode]

I'm trying it out now. I am finding that many sponsors have 88x88 thumbnail sizes. It doesn't make for a nice blog post. Do you have this problem?

Yeah, a lot of sponsor dumps have small thumbnails. It'll either take some looking around for sponsors that have bigger images in the dump, try out 6bot.com, or you can also make CSVs by hand.
I use the 88x88s for things like the thumbnails on http://dailyporn.xxx

Couple of max sizes from sponsors in my sig:

Payserve: 300x245
Pimproll: 302x201
Fetish Hits: 200x150

ok here's a problem someone might know the answer to in order to keep this thread alive.

Is it possible to import a link list from another domain into a wp blog. I want to have one file that needs changing instead of reworking every blog. I've tried iframes but it seems to have the intractable problem of needing to set the height which would mean every time I add a site I would have change the height in every blog thereby defeating the whole ideal.

I'll try and keep the thread alive too.

That's the thing now. In other threads people are saying how much they are hurting because of google's algo updates and those were for their 'good' sites (non spammy). I wonder if this method still works anymore.

Do you sell you blog traffic or convert it with sponsors? My last month was totally suck. I turned Plugrush off and sent all traffic to sponsor. 2 sales, 1 instant refund, couple trials for 1$. Google returned some traffic back after last dance. Thinking to get back to Plugrush.

Would be interesting to hear from Medium if the network still pulls in ~$20k a month.

Summer sucks for signups. Mine have dropped waaaaay off. Should pick up come sept. Or it did last time I did this. I hope.
