Is there a Yelp review boost service?

Yelp is very important to a lot of non-adult businesses even though it's not very far to them. Is there a service out there that would create a good pool of positive reviews for a business?

So, you're recommending a service that's bad? Or did you mean Michael Jackson's kind of bad :-)

awhile ago a friend of mine thought of starting something liek this

while building up his collection of accounts he got them all canned one one swoop.

It would take an insane amount of accounts - they ahve some sort of system that monitors for accounts that all review the same thing .. location ... all sorts of factors

I would hope not as I like Yelp for the fact that reviews tend to be pretty solid.

I only have one account and over half of my LEGIT reviews get "filtered."

I can only imagine the headache of trying to game them, but I imagine someone somewhere is doing it.

Yeah but they filter out a lot of legit reviews and can a lot of legit accounts. Yelp is already a poison for a lot of businesses because people tend to submit reviews when they are upset rather than when they are happy. Plus, it gives too much power for assholes and douchebags to ruin a business.

why not let your business speak for itself... if people are giving low / negative reviews then why not consider improving the business wouldn't that make more sense that tricking consumers into trying something that sucks.
