Look...it's pretty cut and dried to me. If you didn't CREATE it, or pay to license it...then you STOLE it. And I think the "dangerous precedent" was set when the first thief on the internet figured out the "user uploaded" loophole to use DMCA against the very people it was designed to protect.

The only "danger" I see about this particular piece of legislation is the "danger" that hard working people might actually stop having their work stolen and their livelihoods taken from them.

Whether you like or dislike youtube ?I doubt that this proposed law if passed will close youtube down.

Porn may be able to ride in on the tails of the MPAA who seems to be the one pushing for this law's passage ...
