Lord of the Rings - Extended Version - Blu-Ray Edition
I'm waiting for some reviews and recommendations before I get a copy.
Do they add more footage to the regular DVD extended version or is the same movie just being released in a Blu-Ray edition? This has not been made clear in the articles that I have seen. I'd really like to see some more of the footage that ended on the editing room floor. |

Thanks, The Blu-Ray extended version is the same as the DVD extended version. That is what I was looking for.

There are currently two versions of LOTR: theatrical as shown in the theatres and extended with additional footage.
I was hoping for even more footage since I know there are several additional scenes that were shot and not yet released to the public. Saving the scenes for the Ultimate, Maximum, Supreme, Longest-Possible Version...I suppose. |

extended apparently had a green/blue filter added to it, and some parts are too tinted....
