Temple Grandin was a great movie, I didn't think I'd like when I read the description but glad I gave it a chance.

see the original 1974 film not the pos remake.

The concept for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre arose in the early 1970s when Tobe Hooper worked as an assistant film director at the University of Texas at Austin and as a documentary cameraman.[2] He had already developed a story centering on the theme of isolation, woods, and darkness.[3] He credited the graphic coverage of violence by San Antonio news outlets as one inspiration for the film[4] and based the plot loosely on the murders committed by serial killer Ed Gein in 1950s Wisconsin;[5]

Miracle tells the true story of Herb Brooks (Russell), the player-turned-coach who led the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team to victory over the seemingly invincible Russian squad.

I will check that out..

ok this is what's wrong with hollywood... those are absolutely fictitious stories and characters, they just make them sound like they really happened by showing dates of deaths and having a text prologue at the beginning...

check out band of brothers... I was impressed when I watched it, but when i did some further reading on the characters and their books I found out that it is almost a perfect rendition of what actually happened, pretty much word for word... which makes this series even better and truly amazing.

One that hasn't been mentioned and my ultimate all time favorite:

"Dog Day Afternoon" w. Al Pacino

No screenwriter could come up with such a story to sound real and no other director than Sidney Lumet could make it into a more memorable movie.
