LOL, looks like the Democrats had some extra red paint. Obama didn't spend a dime in war cost? LOL, it's all Bushes fault, hopefully the next president won't blame everything on Obama.

they should make a graph showing the cost of wars since Obama took office

Found this
The FY11 Overseas Contingency Operations request of $159.3 billion, which will fund military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq next year;

http://www.defense.gov/speeches/spee...?speechid=1416 thats scary

think about that

Effective immediately, all payroll to the senate and congress should be stopped until they fix this.

doesn't look like the chart says it is bushs fault at all. and to be fair bush started the wars obama is funding now. the flipside would be to pull funding and reverse everything bush has done with his war policy.. ( although personally i think that would be a great idea )

I have a simple solution to the debt woes though.. sell one of our states to china, like oregon or something.. wipe the debt clean

But I watch FOX, and they said our debt is all Obama's fault! I'm so confused now. Must un-see... must un-see....

I hope no one is taking that seriously.
A chart from the Obama white house saying it's not his fault and labeling most of the spending as "it's technical".

Don't you know we need war so the administration can give out favors to weapons manufacturers to receive campaign support from?

I like Oregon, let's give them New Jersey

you got to be kidding. Bush cut taxes twice and went to war and started a whole government operation (homeland security), did the medicare drug benefit, tarp. But its all obamas fault lol .
Also obama put the wars on the books which bush didnt do.
I quote John Mccain who voted against the tax breaks. To go to war and give tax breaks is stupid.

http://articles.latimes.com/2009/feb...obama-budget24
After eight years of budget practices that often camouflaged federal spending, President Obama is planning a new strategy of putting on the books as many costs as possible to demonstrate the extent of the nation's economic troubles, senior White House officials say.

It's not a partisan graph. It's based on Congressional Budget Office data. Which figure is incorrect? Here's another look.

yup I agree..

for everyone else, I did not post it to make any particular point. I am not blaming Bush or Obama for the situation we are in as a country. I just wanted to show what the situation really is. I am blaming a lack of leadership and a willingness of both parties at all levels to compromise and really work together for the betterment of the American people. Partisan politics is immature and damaging. This crisis has brought this cold hard fact to light for not only the politically ignorant in the US but the whole world now has no illusions about how our government works or fails to work. WE are airing our dirty laundry and I hope the ideologues on both sides of the isle pull their collective heads out of their asses and spank the extremes.
