Just returned from UK trip.
In short I liked it a LOT. Not London actually, but smaller town of Nottingham.

UK didn't want me to leave, they cancelled Gatwick express, made me ride a cab via all the busy streets of South London

Of all the places why did you choose nottingham? The city of Bath for example would have been a better start.
