I'm working on developing out a fairly large project. In the past, I used a mix between MS paint, email and notepad to spec out projects and development, however need something a little more "serious."

Im looking for something where I can insert images and put in notes. I was told Word was good but I wanted to see if there was anything better out there.

Use OmniGraffle. You can get tons of stencils for it for free on graffletopia.com too.

I use Crayola crayons, graph paper, Elmer's white school glue, and a Polaroid camera. Works a charm.
