I own a Murano, I swear I was one of the first ones to get one. I never saw them advertised, no one had them around Vegas and they hadn't hit the east coast yet. Everyone thought my Murano back home was the minivan they came out with around the same time.

At the time GPS wouldn't even find where we were in Vegas as it was still growing by leaps and bounds. We got it, love the power it has, looks really good with the billet grille, etc. but what they are transforming my car into is killlling me. They should have left it alone, any Murano owner I talk to loves their car. Shame on this new monstrosity.

yeah I thought it was a bit odd looking when I first the ads... but then again peeps bought the ugliest car in the world: pontiac aztek

I always thought the Aztek was Fugly. Tried to find the article on CNN for the Murano, but it disappeared. They had some really funny descriptions for the car

Nissan has been coming out with some funky cars with the juke and cube which I think is a run at the scion market. Gotta give them props for trying something new, honda should take cue's from them and come out with something a little different.

As for the aztec, that reminded me of....

LOL yeah ...

The only thing about the Murano I don't like is the repair costs. Mainly the labor because it's such a complex inside that they had to take out my transmission to get to the alternator. Everything is just in the oddest most complex spots to get to.

My friend who owns a dealership had a customer on a Cadillac CTS-V. He actually went out and found the thing for the guy at auction - fresh off of lease.

The guy called in that he wanted his deposit back because he found a Murano convertible at a Nissan dealership in NJ and was going to go that route.

Let's ignore the fact that this guy wanted to go from one of the fastest four doors in the world into this monstrosity for a second - let's pay attention to the fact that these things are actually hard to find!
