New hot spot to eat in the LA area

I live in Granada Hills California, it's in the San Fernando Valley in the LA area.
I went with a date to find something to eat, didn't want fast food, was driving west on Chatsworth going west past Balboa and found an area that had about 40 roach coaches, food trucks, wiener wagons, they were mostly gourmet, they had sushi, Thai, filipino, Chinese, some kind of sausage wrap in a soft rolled bread that was pure heaven, stuffed with a kind of BBQ sauce, walked a little bit, had a fish taco. I need to come here once a week. I saw hamburgers, hot dogs, some kind of weird potato thing sliced in a spiral and fried. Every truck was different.
I recommend anyone in the area to check this place out, they are there Mon, wed and Friday and on Friday, they have around 60 trucks. I need to take some pictures. Great place for a date.

Someone told me this has been going on for about a couple months and getting bigger.

think about that

I so wish the food truck fad would come to Montreal. They don't allow anything outdoors here, which sucks.

For the last 9+ months there have been food trucks in the parking lot of the Victorian on Main Street in Santa Monica. It's draws a good crowd with lots of hot girls: http://www.yelp.com/biz/gourmet-food...n-santa-monica.

There's also a cool bar adjacent, the Basement Tavern, and you can bring your food in there to eat: http://articles.latimes.com/2010/jul...ght16-20100716

Yeah I heard about that, Santa Monica has always been a good place for stuff like that, I use to live in Marina Del Rey about 25 years ago. But for this to happen in the Valley, thats pretty cool
