Batch Photo editing accross multiple folders?
I have thousands of photo galleries all nicely divided into folders.
I need to rename them and add watermarks to them all and I find ACDSEE does this nicely, but only one folder at a time. That's fine if I want to spend days and weeks opening each folder, hitting "select all" then doing the rename thing, the resize thing and the watermark thing, but I wonder if there's software out there that can do it to all of them at once. ACDSEE seems to ignore the command when it is applied to folders rather than photos directly. Any ideas? |

I use ACDSEE Pro 3 to resize and watermark multiple folders of photos in a batch every day.
Hold control and select the folders containing your photos. ![]() Watch the bottom right to make sure they are all fully opened. "Select All Images" I've done batches of over 30k photos at a time that way. But... you'll still have to rename them folder by folder if you want to use different names for each folder. ![]() |

OK I get it. After selecting the folders I still have to ctrl+a to select all images in all folders.
Doing 63 folders now. If I had known this a few weeks ago I would have saved so much time... At least I know now. |

Any idea how to get it to stop saving the originals when making editing a folder?
edit: Never mind I figured it out ![]() |

Was just going to say the same thing about Pro 3...
.... go into options and one of the things has a checkmark for saving originals, just uncheck it bro

Hmm just tested this in ACDSee 4 and got a problem. I tested with 10 folders with 15 images in each. I'm trying to rename each of the pictures from 001 to 015 in each folder
BUT ACDSee seemes to rename them in total from 001.jpg to 150.jpg and I'm getting 001.jpg, 013.jpg, 054.jpg in folder 1 and so on instead of 001.jpg, 002.jpg etc etc... What am I doing wrong? |
