Is there a plugin that you can upload a video (AVI,MPEG,WMV) and it will transcode to an FLV or MP4 and embed it with JWPlayer or Flowplayer in a post?

I'm not sure what player it uses, but I think you might look at UUGallery for that.

Why is that expensive if you have traffic /users, It works similar to a tube site because it works on the same principle using ffmpeg to convert the videos. Its not gonna cost any more than if you were running a tube site with user uploads enabled

Ok now im confused

I thought this was an open source code which means you could use it on your own wordpress site on your own server whith out using all the wordpress addons

harvey this has nothing to do with that - this is just a personal blog for a model. so she can record her videos with her webcam and then put them on her blog without having to go to some other tube site that allows nudity and upload it there and then use their embed code.

dont think any of those convert the videos into flv format on the server they are just plugins to allow the use of tags ect to play diff types of video formats on the blog

well Videopress doesn't allow adult and I don't see any other plugins that will convert a video to FLV or MP4.

so, is there an online tool where she can convert her videos to FLV? trying to avoid having to teach how to use another piece of software.

I could set you up with just the functions you need as long as you have ffmpeg and IMageMagick ;)

i bought the 60$ videopress addon. which i use for self hosted sites.

unlimited traffic, i only have 2gb space though, its only for personal stuff.

its very fast too.

and you can only upload videos you have rights too.l
