I really hope Gary Johnson gets more coverage along with Huntsman and Buddy.

So far I prefer Johnson and Huntsman to Perry and Romney.
Perry or Romney might be OK, but they are both just two more politicians, nothing special that I see.

you will never see anything more than that from either party - politics is devoid of special people. the only ones who might seem special are the ones on the fringes and they only seem special because they can say whatever they like because even they know they have no shot at winning a higher office.

Two weeks ago they had Perry winning the nomination and beating Obama now those same people are saying after his HPV stance, his Social Security is a ponzi scheme statement and some other attacks on him that he is all but done and won't win the nomination.

Pretty wild how things turn, but if we remember in the last election all the experts pretty much had it down being either Romeny or Giuliani as the sure fire winner and neither of them made it past super tuesday.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if they actually ran away with the nod? It'll never happen, but it would be great if it did.

in 2008 I was really praying McCain won the nom, but he wasn't the same McCain that ran in 00. He had changed. His candidacy greatly disappointed me and by the results, apparently almost everyone else. Picking Palin was his "hail mary" and was the icing on the cake of "this dude has no clue what he's doing." Ultimately i believe he lost the race not only because of GWB or Palin, but the very day the markets started to tank and the economy went into a tailspin he went out and made "the sky is not falling" speeches.

also this time last POTUS election cycle, Clinton was considered a lock.
