I remember when soda's had carbonation....
What's up with sodas now a days? It's like drinking syrup. I miss sodas having so much carbonation it would make my eyes water! I think they do this in the US so they can keep them from blowing up when they're shipping...dunno. |

				 | Not noticed any meaningful difference in carbonation - it seems as bubbly as always. However, about 25 years or so ago corn syrup was substituted for real sugar in most major brands in the U.S. The difference in taste is very noticeable, such as with Coke. One can still find soda with real sugar in many other countries, as well as, various "ethnic" stores throughout the U.S. Another thing that makes a noticeable difference in taste and slightly with carbonation is the container it comes in - glass is superior to aluminum and plastic. | Quote: You actually can't put as much CO2 into as you want. It's a set amount based on the size of the bottle you're trying to fill. Try and put more into it and you'll be wearing it all over you. | |

I never order soda in a restaurant or buy it for home unless I need something to mix with whiskey. I then get tired of it even with whiskey in it. It's horrible, but a lot of people will never know it because their taste buds were ruined when they were kids with all the sugary shit they got fed. As long as they taste something sweet they are satisfied and they have no idea what sugar cane taste like. | |
