uh oh. evil businesses are conspiring against OWS

"""Businesses and residents near New York's Zuccotti Park, the unofficial headquarters of the movement that began in mid-September, are demanding something be done to discourage the hundreds of protesters from urinating in the street and making noise at all hours"""

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/...and/50922286/1

how dare they demand OWS stop urinating in the street? don't they know they're fighting against oppression?

The protesters can do their business in latrines, and they can protest while shitting on ribbon barriers spelling out their protests.

Okay that didnt come out right.

I don't know why the protesters who've collected over $500,000 in donations don't install them.

I'm guessing from the looks of the crowd that proper sanitary habits were never taught in their homes.

Apparently Zuccotti Park is privately owned and the owners don't really want them there but are trying to avoid a major confrontation with them but I suspect their patience is wearing thin. They have spoken out about the unsanitary conditions.

urinating in the street is wrong...porta potties should be brought in.

many local businesses realize they are not one of the top 1% and actually support the movement donating food water and shelter relief.

another myth we'll await a link for.
and please, not protesters telling us how supported they are, actual business owners saying how supportive they are.

Ben & Jerry's
Quote:

Local Businesses
Quote:
**Local design shop and consultancy FearLess sent food and a megaphone down to the square, while Brooklyn-based craft brewery Sixpoint delivered kegs of water to the occupiers. Sixpoint's president also released a statement:

As a brewery, some people believe our role should be confined to making beer. But the brewery is not just a collection of tanks, kegs, and equipment - it is comprised of people, and we as individuals live within a community. And naturally, this community represents our society, which comprises the global culture....

** Big Mario's Pizza has been keeping the tummies of the protesters at the Occupy Wall Street Seattle full for almost two weeks.

Co-owner David Meinert donated about 12 pizzas to protesters a couple days after the occupation gained traction in Seattle.

"I was just reading about the protests and it was kind of a drizzly day, and I thought it would be nice to deliver some hot food," said Meinert.

"It seemed to really invigorate them and give them some belief that there was outside support for what they are doing," said Meinert.

** Occupiers have dubbed one McDonald's near Zuccotti Park the "people's McDonald's." According to AlterNet's Kristen Gwyne, staffers at the location have been generally friendly to the Occupy Wall Street protesters, letting them use their restrooms and free wireless Internet.

All found on the first page of a google search. Getting tougher and tougher to find those local businesses that support the movement, boy, my fingers are tired.

As to the porta pottie issue. From what I've read the owners of Zuccotti Park or the local authorities won't allow them to be delivered, this would allow the protests to continue further.

Quote:
GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY
Posted Oct. 13, 2011, 2:10 p.m. EST by OccupyWallSt

Following respectful and good-faith dialogue with members of the local community which has been rebuilding since the trauma of 9/11, Occupy Wall Street hereby announces the following Good Neighbor Policy:

OWS has zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol anywhere in Liberty Plaza;

Zero tolerance for violence or verbal abuse towards anyone;

Zero tolerance for abuse of personal or public property.

OWS will limit drumming on the site to 2 hours per day, between the hours of 11am and 5pm only.

OWS encourages all participants to respect health and sanitary regulations, and will direct all participants to respectfully utilize appropriate off-site sanitary facilities.

OWS will display signage and have community relations and security monitors in Liberty Plaza, in order to ensure awareness of and respect for our guidelines and Good Neighbor Policy.

OWS will at all times have a community relations representative on-site, to monitor and respond to community concerns and complaints.

Occupy Wall Street October 13, 2011

Note: In conjunction with local community members and their representatives, OWS is also working to establish off-site sanitary facilities such as port-a-potties.
The fact here is that the protesters are doing everything they can to not violate any laws beyond the ones broken with the actual occupation. It's the local authorities that have vested interest in the continuation of law breaking, so there is reason to forcibly remove the protesters.

oh, I see! by local, you don't mean the store fronts the protesters are pissing against, your "local" means a business in the same state.

got it.

They should have thought about sanitation before they decided to sleep there for weeks on end.

you do think you are oh so important, don't you?

Sorry lil buddy. Making six figures (even high six figures) per year doesn't put you in the 'rich' category.

such a bitter little boy.
obama has pegged "rich" at $200k
so even though your silly guess about me is off, I'm out protecting the little guy as well.

oh, and compared to you, I AM important.

I mean, when have I ever cared what you earn, rabble?
this is now several times you've low ball guessed at what I make.

envious much, little fella?

got it.
So you just completely skip over the actual local businesses I posted that support this movement. It was even in the same fucking post! I know you have a reputation of being ignorant, and stupid, and I now see why. IT WAS IN THE SAME POST

Not if your sites have zero affiliates promoting them.

There's a lesson here.

When life gives you OWS'ers, start up a lemonade stand.

And hardly any as an employee of a traffic broker.
I mean if you still have that job.
Keep chasing me, son and we'll start talking about the outstanding balance we're owed by your boss
