I am starting a new project that will be very community oriented. The users will have the ability to interact within the community, post their own unique posts (admin approval required), profiles, etc etc.
I have seen that there are a number of plugins for user submitted content (ex: http://perishablepress.com/user-submitted-posts/), yet without any experience with them individually I am not sure which one to start with.
Have any of you had experience with this? If so, what plugin(s) would you suggest?
I intend to use something like BuddyPress or Mingle for other features, as well as MagicMembers for premium memberships. Is there a way to tie the same login for each user across all plugins? Rather than individual? I am possibly going to be adding a small forum as well (using simple:press or something similar). Obviously I don't want to have my users create a new login for each service individually. Are these based off of the base Wordpress user registration?
This type of Wordpress setup is all new to me and far more advanced than anything else I have done with Wordpress to date. Rather than months of trial and error I am trying to figure out the most plausible setup out the door.
